AIA Quarterly MPI Recognition Award Ceremony (April 2022)

On 22nd April 2022, PB Trustee Services Berhad was invited to attend AIA’s Quarterly MPI Recognition Award Ceremony at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya to speak on the topic of Legacy Planning to AIA’s top quarterly achievers.

During the sharing session, PBTSB had shared on two (2) legacy planning tools which is the Will/Wasiat writing and Trust. PBTSB had emphasise that a Will/Wasiat is one of the most basic legacy planning tool that everyone should have. Writing a Will/Wasiat allows testators (i.e.: a person who is writing the Will/Wasiat) to state their last wishes pertaining to the distribution of their assets, their preferred executor and trustee as well as a substitute guardian to care for their young child(ren)/special needs child(ren) in the event both parents have passed away.

Furthermore, PBTSB also shared that setting up a Private Trust or Insurance/Takaful Trust (“Trust”) allows them to have a peace of mind because their loved ones’ welfare have been carefully planned ahead of time. One of the many benefits of setting up a Trust is that it ensures that their assets can be utilised by their loved ones immediately upon demise or in the event incapacitation, without the need to undergo the delay and hassles of the court process.
